This partnership aims to accelerate WTA’s growth, with Wasserman responsible for all partnership levels, focusing on securing a new Premier Partner.

This appointment follows a period of significant momentum for the WTA, highlighted by the recent unveiling of a new brand identity designed to enhance its position in sports and entertainment. This rebranding, along with the new Premier Partner sponsorship opportunity, is central to WTA Ventures` strategy to expand women`s professional tennis, leveraging a 25% increase in commercial revenue achieved in 2024.

As a leading force in women`s sports, the WTA showcases top athletes across six continents, reaching a global audience exceeding one billion and experiencing a 25% growth in social media followers last year. It stands as the most viewed women’s sport globally, offering brands a powerful platform due to its dedicated fanbase. Beyond sports, the WTA is committed to making a positive global impact by inspiring future generations and supporting women`s health and empowerment initiatives worldwide.

Wasserman`s Rights Sales division will spearhead this partnership. Renowned for securing high-value commercial agreements for major sports organizations, Wasserman`s recent successes in Formula 1, Rugby, and Cricket underscore their industry leadership. Their current portfolio includes prominent partners such as the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Road Runners, British & Irish Lions, Netflix, and more.

Wasserman Rights Sales will collaborate with The Collective, Wasserman’s women’s impact and advisory division, to identify and engage potential partners. The Collective already partners with Athletes Unlimited and the Netball Super League and has consulted for WNBA, NWSL teams, and the LPGA, among others.
