U.S. Women’s Open Champions by Year

The U.S. Women`s Open is recognized as one of the most prestigious championships on the LPGA Tour. This annual event has taken place every year since its inception in 1946. The first tournament was originally played in a match-play format. The record for the most U.S. Women`s Open titles is held jointly by Betsy Rawls, who won four times (in 1951, 1953, 1957, and 1960), and Mickey Wright, also with four victories (in 1958, 1959, 1961, and 1964).

In the most recent edition, the 2025 U.S. Women`s Open, Maja Stark secured the championship title. She finished two strokes ahead of fellow competitors, including top-ranked Nelly Korda and Rio Takeda.
