Thunder vs. Nuggets: Game 5 Preview

The Oklahoma City Thunder, holding the top seed, are set to play on their home court for Game 5. They are aiming to secure the series lead for the first time in this second-round playoff matchup against the Denver Nuggets. The series is currently tied at two games apiece, following OKC`s victory in Game 4 on Sunday, which they won away from home.

In Sunday afternoon`s Game 4, the Nuggets had a difficult start, scoring only eight points in the first quarter. Despite this, they managed to hold a lead going into the fourth quarter. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered crucial plays for OKC late in the game, as the Thunder significantly outscored the Nuggets by 11 points during the final twelve minutes.

After a dominant performance in Game 1 of the series, where he scored 42 points and grabbed 22 rebounds, Nuggets star Nikola Jokić has been less effective against the Thunder`s defense. In the subsequent three games, Jokić has averaged 21.3 points and recorded a total of 15 assists.
