Nikola Jokic, known for taking long-distance shots at the end of quarters, once again showed his talent by making an incredible shot.
This season, Jokic leads the league with 20 `heaves` (shots from beyond half court). He recently made his second one – a remarkable 62-footer against the Jazz, just before halftime. He made it look effortless.
His footwork on this shot is impressive. It was a legitimate Euro step, starting from the free-throw line on the opposite side of the court.
It`s an unbelievable play, and Jokic executes it with ease. His first long shot this season was even further away and also made with a one-handed flick.
With these two incredible shots, Jokic and Stephen Curry are now the only NBA players to make two shots from 60 feet or more in the same season.
The buzzer-beater against the Jazz also marked a career milestone for Jokic, bringing his total points to 16,003. He is now the fastest player in NBA history to reach 16,000 points, 8,000 rebounds, and 5,000 assists in just 739 games, surpassing the previous record held by Larry Bird (799 games).
