As part of the ongoing Mutua Madrid Open tennis tournament, several prominent WTA players, including Ons Jabeur, Camila Osorio, Demi Schuurs, Luisa Stefani, and Beatriz Haddad Maia, recently made a visit to the facilities at Real Madrid City.
The tennis stars were greeted by members of the Real Madrid women`s football team – Athenea del Castillo, Caroline Weir, Rikke Møller Jensen, Linda Caicedo, and Antonia Silva – just before a training session.
The athletes from both sports exchanged gifts and took a moment to celebrate the connection between football and tennis, occurring during one of the largest combined events in the sporting calendar.
The 2025 Mutua Madrid Open is currently underway at the Caja Magica venue and is scheduled to conclude on May 4.
