FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Schedule and Results

The summer of 2025 marks a significant change for the FIFA Club World Cup. This year introduces the first edition of the expanded tournament, hosted in the United States. The competition features 32 teams from around the world competing for a substantial prize fund, reportedly totaling $1 billion.

The newly formatted competition includes many high-profile clubs. From UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain to Argentine giants Boca Juniors, numerous teams are aiming for a deep run. The majority of the 32-team field comes from Europe (12 teams), followed by South America (6 participants). Asia and Africa each contribute four teams, while North America provides five, including three MLS clubs. Oceania is represented by one team, the only amateur side in the tournament, Auckland City.

While all teams share the objective of success, the expectations and stakes differ. Underdogs like Lionel Messi`s Inter Miami and Simone Inzaghi`s Al-Hilal hope to make a significant impact in a tournament widely expected to be dominated by European powerhouses. Clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Inter Milan (who concluded their domestic and continental seasons without silverware) are among those crossing the Atlantic aiming to live up to high expectations and secure this prestigious trophy.

With the tournament action already underway, here is an overview of the schedule and results recorded so far.
