EA Sports has released update v1.03 for F1 25 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. This patch addresses numerous problems within the game, aiming to provide a more stable and polished experience. For instance, earlier versions had graphical glitches with light rain that could mislead players, making wet surfaces look dry – a significant handicap in racing scenarios.
Balancing adjustments were also made. In the Driver Career mode, the optional fictional teams, Konnersport and APXGP, were incorrectly allocated excessive resources early in the season, giving them an unfair advantage over licensed teams. While this update won`t alter standings in existing career saves, their resource gain rates have been corrected and will become more balanced over time compared to other teams.
Players who experienced puzzling track limit penalties at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium might find relief; their driving skills weren`t necessarily at fault. Several trackside markers were placed incorrectly, creating a false impression of available space. A similar issue at the Miami track has also been identified and resolved. Both circuits have also received improvements to their track and off-track surface details.
