EA Sports F1 25: Release Date and Game Details

Following the announcement of Lewis Hamilton as the cover star for the F1 25 Iconic Edition, EA Sports has shared more information about the upcoming F1 25 racing game. The game is set to launch on May 30, 2025, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The Standard Edition of F1 25 will feature three drivers on its cover: Oscar Piastri from McLaren, who recently won the Chinese Grand Prix; Carlos Sainz of Williams, who earned points for the team in Shanghai; and Oliver Bearman, a rookie from Haas, who also scored his first points for the American team at the last race weekend.

Fans who enjoy story-driven content will be excited to know that Braking Point, the game`s story mode, will continue with Braking Point 3. This chapter will follow the fictional Konnersport team as they compete for the championship after their progress in the previous game. F1 25 will allow players to adjust the difficulty settings in the single-player mode, making it enjoyable for both new and experienced players.

EA Sports is also promising significant improvements to the popular My Team mode, with a focus on team management aspects. Players will have more responsibilities and can participate in races as either of their team`s drivers. Additionally, visual enhancements are expected for several tracks in the game.

Pre-orders for F1 25 are now open through EA and Codemasters, offering several benefits. Early buyers of the Standard Edition will receive the F1 75 Celebration Pack, the F1 World Starter Pack, and 5,000 PitCoin in-game currency. Those who pre-order the Iconic Edition will also get in-game liveries from the current F1 season in F1 24, Hamilton-themed items, and future story chapters featuring the fictional APXGP team from the upcoming Apple F1 movie. Iconic Edition owners will also gain early access to the game starting on May 27, 2025.

In some regions, pre-ordering the Iconic Edition will also include a free one-month subscription to F1 TV.
