Betting Favorites for the Next Four Golf Majors

Scottie Scheffler is currently halfway to achieving a career Grand Slam, already holding two Masters titles and one PGA Championship. Looking ahead to the upcoming major tournaments, Scheffler is listed as the betting favorite in the futures market for all four events. Close behind him is Rory McIlroy. Bryson DeChambeau is the only other golfer with odds better than 10-1 for any of the next four majors.

The 2025 U.S. Open

The U.S. Open in 2025 is scheduled for June 12-15 and will be held at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. This will mark the 10th time the course has hosted the championship. Bryson DeChambeau was the winner of the 2024 U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2.

The 2025 Open Championship

Often referred to as the British Open, the 2025 Open Championship will take place from July 17-20 at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland. Xander Schauffele claimed victory at the 2024 event, held at Royal Troon.

The 2026 Masters

Unique among the four majors for always being played at the same venue, the Masters will return to Augusta National Club in Georgia from April 9-12, 2026. Rory McIlroy secured his first green jacket by winning the tournament earlier this year.

The 2026 PGA Championship

Scottie Scheffler will look to defend the title he won in 2025 at the 2026 PGA Championship. The event is set to be played from May 14-17 at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
