Mirra Andreeva’s incredible season continues as she secures another win, marking her 20th victory this year and an impressive 13th consecutive match win.
The 17-year-old Andreeva, in her Miami Open debut, defeated Veronika Kudermetova in straight sets 6-0, 6-2 in the second round.

6: Andreeva is currently ranked No. 6 in the WTA rankings after winning the Indian Wells title. She now aims to achieve the “Sunshine Double” by winning both Indian Wells and Miami Open consecutively, a feat never accomplished by a teenager.
20: Leading the WTA Tour in main-draw wins this year, Andreeva is the first player in 2025 to reach 20 victories at the tour level. She needed just 68 minutes to win against Kudermetova.
13: Andreeva’s current winning streak is now 13 matches, all at WTA 1000 events. She is aiming for her third consecutive WTA 1000 title after wins in Dubai and Indian Wells.
3: Since 2009, only three women have won three WTA 1000 titles in a row: Serena Williams, Iga Swiatek, and Caroline Wozniacki. Andreeva is looking to join this elite group.
