2025 NBA Draft Trade Tracker: Latest Deals and News

The 2025 NBA Draft is set to begin in Brooklyn. However, teams have already been active on the trade market well before draft night. Several notable deals involving All-Stars have taken place since Sunday, with the Rockets making a significant early move by acquiring Kevin Durant from the Suns. Another major transaction on Wednesday night saw the Suns acquire center Mark Williams from the Hornets.

Phoenix continued making moves on Thursday, securing a second-round pick from the Brooklyn Nets. This trade gives the Suns the Nos. 36, 52, and 59 picks in the second round.

The Celtics have also been very busy in the period leading up to the draft. Boston has completed two separate trades this week, sending away Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porziņģis. Holiday was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in a deal that brought guard Anfernee Simons to Boston. Meanwhile, Porziņģis will join Trae Young on the Hawks, a move that also helped the Celtics create significant salary cap space.

The trade involving Kevin Durant had an impact on Wednesday`s first round, as the Suns re-acquired the No. 10 overall pick, which had previously been traded to Houston (originally belonging to Phoenix). By Wednesday morning, sixteen first-round picks had already changed hands. The Nets, who were also involved in the Porziņģis trade, held five picks within the top 27 entering Wednesday.

More trades are expected to happen before the second round on Thursday. Below is a summary of the reported deals.
