2025 NBA Draft Order: Second Round Picks

The second round on Thursday marks the conclusion of the 2025 NBA Draft, following the first 30 selections made on Wednesday night. As expected, Cooper Flagg was chosen first overall by the Dallas Mavericks, with Dylan Harper going second to the San Antonio Spurs. Other significant selections included Ace Bailey falling to the Utah Jazz, the Suns picking Duke`s big man Khaman Maluach, and the Pelicans` somewhat surprising trade to land Derik Queen as the 13th pick.

With the first round complete, the NBA Draft now spans two days. An additional 29 players will be selected on Thursday night to finalize this year`s draft proceedings. A considerable number of these picks have already been involved in trades, and further second-round exchanges are anticipated before Thursday evening.

Here is the current order for the second round of the draft, which begins with selections by the Phoenix Suns and Boston Celtics.

The draft includes a total of 59 selections this year because the New York Knicks forfeited one of their picks due to a tampering investigation in 2022. The investigation concluded that the Knicks had “violated league rules regarding the timing of free agency discussions” in connection with signing Jalen Brunson. Given Brunson`s impact and success with the team, it`s improbable that the Knicks are regretting the loss of that pick.
